School Sessions

We are now offering pre-school sessions designed to develop a child's sporting technique, coordination and social skills in a fun and energetic way. The philosophy of Jungle Sports is that if children are having fun they are more open to learning.

Fantastic offer for your pre-school!

Jungle Sports are now taking bookings for in-school sessions. These could be either a one off session or you could have Jungle Sports do a term of sessions for your pupils in preschools, long day care services, schools and playgroups!

What does a Jungle Sports session involve?

A Jungle Sports Gamekeeper (coach) will visit your service to complete a short but energetic introduction to all the fun that can be had at Jungle Sports. Our Gamekeepers will capture the imagination of the children with games and activities that will engage all abilities with the use of relevant terminology. Key focuses of each session include coordination, balance, controlled movements and ball skills.

No equipment needed

Our Gamekeepers will bring any equipment needed for the session. They will arrive 10-15 minutes prior to the session for set up and will work the session according to your physical space and the number of children expected in the group. The Centre will need to provide a 20m x 20m area for us to utilize, either indoors, undercover or suitable ground outside.

We recommend no more than 25-30 children per session (of course this number needs to be considered in relation to your physical space).

Why a structured sports program for children of this age?

Teaching young children fundamental movement skills such as throwing, kicking and catching, is proving to be a major step forward in the effort to tackle childhood obesity. Children who become proficient with these skills at an early age are more likely to continue along a path of regular sporting activity as they get older.

At Jungle Sports we are committed to providing a fun and stimulating environment for this learning to occur.
